Utilises your head motion

The Vigo Head Control allows the riders to utilize their full range of head motion available to them (however restricted this may be) to intuitively drive their power wheelchair and control their computer. It's as easy as tilting your head. In addition to wheelchair control, Vigo also functions as a wireless head mouse allowing drivers to connect to any computer, smartphone, or tablet to play games, work, and socialize. Additional functions include Bluetooth headset functionality for phone calls, emergency stops, and algorithms to detect unusual control inputs. This one device can fulfill many roles, making it a game-changer in the field of assistive technology.

Perfectly positioned

Head controls that are attached to the chair require the rider’s head to be always positioned within the head control in order to be able to operate it effectively. Since the Vigo is positioned on the driver’s head, the ability to operate the Vigo is optimal and maintained even during transfers. The Vigo headset connects via Bluetooth, so there aren’t any wires to get in the way.

Each head movement control can be configured independently to suit the driver's range of motion. It constantly measures the driver’s head position in space, making it an ideal solution for a wide range of conditions. Adjustments to the range of head movements can be made using sliders in the app, making it a versatile solution that can adapt to changing needs over time.
