PURSUING A DREAM

After receiving a gift of Patrick Moyses for my 8th birthday (his World Champion jersey) I really felt the motivation and created the need to pursue a dream.

Sunrise Medical was the only company able to build a competitive and adaptable handbike to my special measurements.

ENJOYING MY WHEELCHAIR

I was born on 28/05/1998 with spina bifida. I’ve always been really active with and without my chair. Before really knowing about para sport, I'd already done some sports with my friends or my brother by adapting rules or the way to play by myself. At 7 years old I discovered wheelchair sports like basketball, swimming, wheelchair racing and handcycling. It's with this last one that I match the most with.

Thanks to this other people I learnt and progressed a lot. Before meeting them I was more on the floor than on my wheelchair, maybe because it was easier to move on my hands than pushing my heavy wheelchair. From the moment I received my new wheelchair from Quickie I started enjoying it.
